I wanted a picture where I could record the receding wave and also record the incoming wave at the same time, around some rocks. To achieve this I needed to time between the receding and incoming waves, this was not easy as time recorded between each wave was so varied. In the end I used the average time I had noted which 0.5 of sec @ F16 was setting.
